Oriol  was born in Barcelona and still lives there - by the sea. He studied  at Elisava, School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona.

Since 1997 he has worked as an art director for commercials, feature films and television series. He is also currently working as a production designer.

“When I started, everything was done by hand, from the design to the final construction of the set. We didn't have modern software and tools. Everything has changed today, but we continue to devote the same time to the small details that make our work credible.”

Before dedicating himself entirely to artistic direction,  Oriol was a veterinarian and founding member of the NGO VSF Spain. He has been working on environmental  and tropical livestock projects in Cameroon, Guatemala and Zaire for ten years and remains concerned about solidarity and sustainable development.

In his spare time Oriol enjoys sailing on old wooden boats.
